Not even close. Bama by FAR. Not even in the discussion. I have never really hated something so much in my life. I hate everything about Alabama now, like the entire state. I used to love Orange beach and gulf shores. Hate it now.

I'm not gonna lie; after January 9, 2012, I have become somewhat apathetic towards Bama. That game did something to me deep within that I'm not too sure I'll ever recover from. So the intensity with which I used to hate those guys has dwindled.

Anyone who doesn't dislike BAMA more is insane.

We recruit head to heard with BAMA
We compete head to head with BAMA in the same division...of the same conference.
BAMA is being lead by our old coach who has done better there than he did here.
BAMA owns the SEC office and directly/indirectly effects even our schedule.

This. Alabama likely cost LSU two undisputed national championships. USC cost LSU 1 AP title.

One of those was spoiled what could have been the greatest season in the history of LSU, arguably all of college football, to a Bama team LSU already beat, received an undeserved rematch, and pummeled the Tigers in their home state with the former coach calling the shots.

Alabama competes with LSU for every recruit, constantly, including LF and DM, players that would be humiliating to lose.

It's simply illogical to hate USC more.

I lost all respect for Bama, their coach, their fanbase, and their players after the sore-loserism they displayed in 2011. I've never seen a school outside of the Big 12 work so hard to undermine the success of other schools within their own conference. Going so far as to try to reverse an on-the-field result in conference play like the Tide did in 2011 blew my mind; I thought SEC schools were above that.

If that is so, then people are beyond help.

There was no reason to hate USC. USC did absolutely nothing to LSU. It is not their fault the BCS screwed them. If LSU was ranked #1 and didn't make the title game, LSU fans would riot. (Well some would have rioted, others apparently would have told everyone else to quit whining and enjoy being #2). USC is in a different confernce and never plays LSU. They are half a continent and a few hour flight away. And dispite signing JD Booty and Joe McKnight was not a serious threat in recruiting.

Alabama is in our division. We have to play them every year. They are only 1 state and a short drive away. They recruit many of the same players both in La and otehr states LSU recruits. Their coach used to be our coach and because of that he has contacts in La that helps them with recruiting. He hired a St Aug alum as recruiting coordinator because of his ties to top level recruits in New Orleans.

Then there is the little fact that despite the fact that LSU beat Bama IN THEIR OWN STADIUM. They were given a rematch for the BCS Title even with one of the weaker resumes in BCS history.

Alabama is a direct threat to LSU. USC was not and never will be. I get that some people don't hate Bama and root for the SEC. But I do not get why anyone hated USC and any one that hated USC more than Alabama is totally lacking perspective and may have had a lobatomy.

The thing that really got me mad was Saban begging the voters to be fair in 2011 for the BCSNC bids (after not attending the SECChamp.

Then in 2012 he said it would be unfair for bama to drop out of the BCS (if they lost to UGA in the SECChamp), when FLA gets a BCS bowl by not attending the SECChamp.

I disagree, but the logical hate should be directed at the media because of how they elevated and outright dismissed LSU. I can't stand USC and hope they lose ever game...HOWEVER, as I said in my above post, disliking them more than Alabama is simply nonsensical. Logically it's a non-starter.

It's like hating some kid who lives across town who looked at you funny in the mall a few years ago more than bully down the street who steals your bike and tries to beat you up daily.

Yes, I hate a team that we haven't played in over 30 years more than a team that blanked us in the National Title Game after we already beat them that year.

i don't know how old you are but i've hated bama for 50 years. hate. we've only played usc once that i can remember. yea, they, aided by the big 10, screwed the '03 team by openly lobbying for a "split" NC. bama is our nemisis. fact. w/0 bama LSU would have more, maybe several more NC's. they have some great teams but even when they on't they get the breaks or just claim the damn NC. the assholes. if ST. Peter is a bama fan i'm in trouble.
