Again, LSU has signed signed every single JC player we have ever offered, except McKnight. If you think Chris Jackson was a second rate player, there's no point even trying to educate you.

You don't replace Derrion Yates, Brad Smalling, Al Woods, Chris Davenport, Artie Moore, Amp Hill, Robert Davis, Josh Booty......... Shall I go on?

In the Athlon preview issue for this year, they have the top 40 players from 2007. I know 3 were LSU recruits including Chad Jones but seriously, looking at that list maybe 5 names actually panned out. So for everyone who thinks the 5 stars are the end all for recruiting, I'll just take the Les Miles way. Seems to have a much better success rate.

Lacy really isn't dumb like people want to believe, however, he did receive grades only because he was an athlete. Therefore he never learned how to properly study and developed many bad habits that needed to be rectified before college. Many stud athletes have same issue, they do just enough to get by and then last minute they struggle because everything had been given to them.
Yet a lot of the "Lacy is dumb" comments come because he did not come to LSU or Miles did not recruit him. I would bet there are a few on the LSU that would actually struggle more than Lacy but had a little more assistance in high school and what not.

All La HS coaches do not like LSU. A lot of HS players do not like LSU. I don't thing they are driving then away from LSU, but they might direct them to where they haver a better chance to play, plus they may have coaches at those colleges that are friends.

The new St Aug guy got a letter of recommendation from Frank Wilson. It's not just Crutchfields ties to Bama. It's also Burton Burns. His daughter is also working at St Aug. She is in a position of Influence in the Administration there.

The recent fluffer disguised as journalism piece on Fournette should tell you to what lengths they'll go to.

But again LSU completely supported Crutchfield's hire.

The good news: they have ZERO players after Fournette, and Crutchfield has stepped on his dick so consistently it won't be long before he screws up again based on past history.

I don't buy that statement by Rosetta. Of course there may be one or two coaches that steer players out of the state, but that's any given year. Rosetta is also giving coaches too much credit. These decisions are ultimately the final decision of the players not the coach. The family has more influence than most coaches. Saban's 3 National Titles and the fact he is a good coach attracts players. Give Saban credit the guy has history of being a good coach and recruiter as does Miles.

It is a given that West Monroe's HC, Don Shows, is promoting LSU! He even wore his LSU cap on ESPN's Varsity Inc in 2007 at the 5 minute mark. LINK

I know I'm not the only one that feels that LC was Bama since his recruitment started. Also, I think that UA all star interview was contrived bull shite. Worst acting job by a woman since Elizabeth Berekely in Showgirls. Face it, he's a Gump and so is his girlfriend and brother. He way win the Thorpe, contribute as a backup or end up at Alabama St. He could be the next Bobby Sablehaus, Ernie Badeaux, Eric Jefferson or Willie Williams. Time will tell.
