Not sure about that comparison. Jay Cutler was a great college QB.

I think he is well coached. He is coached not to turn the ball over. He is coached to be a no risk QB. He over throws receivers because it is a safe throw. He throws the ball out of bounds on roll outs because the receiver is in tight coverage.

Rule number one: do not turn the ball over.

Thank heavens for this discussion. About 3 weeks ago I was raising these issues and tons of idiots on this board were up in arms. Roger the Shrubber in particular. Couple of other douches whose names escape me.

He seems like a goof off to me... almost like he isn't taking things seriously.

I'm sure he cares, but I don't see him as somebody who almost has a cockiness to him in regards to his play on the field. Or confidence. Or determination. And I think you need that as a player.

Seems like somebody more concerned with having fun and joking around than winning football games.

And that could be completely wrong, but it is just the vibe I have gotten.

I remember Tommy Hodson on the sideline,, pumping everyone up and could not wait to get back on the field... bloody and all...
