In comparision.... Miles win vs Saban's win..

Miles was celebrating the horrible win against a even more horrible Tenn team after the game, like a giddy school girl.
Saban was upset about the poor perfromance of his team after Bama beat the #7 team in the country 31-6... Demands better play..
And THAT boys and girls is the difference between a Top Tier coach and program and middle of the pack SEC team full of excuses...

"As an experience, I'm going to enjoy that one, as much as I hate to admit it,'' Miles said.

quote:
Alabama coach Nick Saban and his players spoke like they had lost after Saturday night’s 31-6 blowout victory over No. 7 Florida.
quote:
No one seemed entirely pleased with their performance in which the top-ranked and defending national champion Crimson Tide rolled to a 24-0 first-half
quote:
So much that Saban’s rule of enjoying a win for 24 hours had seemingly been reduced to less than 30 minutes. He questioned whether his team had shut it down too early against the overmatched Gators.
quote:
“We have a high expectation and high standard for how we want to play and what we want to do,” Saban said. “I’m not pleased with the way we finished the game.”

And yet, when Saban was at LSU, he was one of the worst coaches in the country according to most posters on this board.
Go figure.....

Even when Saban is elated, I doubt his pulse rises above 55 BPM. I'm not sure I'd bump his reaction up against ANYONE, much less Coach Miles.

The whole staff shut down prior to that game. Saban's lowest point IMO. He knew he was gone and phoned it in.

i would like my coach to be happy with the win, cause if he's not, what do i have to look forward to?

Saban isn't our coach anymore and to be honest those comments are pretty dickish. His players played a hell of a game and dominated Florida. It isn't like Florida's defense sucks...

with Saban it's all about dominiating every second. It doesnt matter if they win 45-0 or not. If there are lapses in focus or effort, he's unhappy. Shoot, he's unhappy almost all the time out there. But that's his MO and it works 10000000X better than Miles sorry excuse for a philosophy

For the sake of staying sane, can we start comparing everything Miles does to someone besides Saban? I know it wouldn't make much sense, but at least it would be refreshing.

He seemed pretty happy after the Bluegrass Miracle

Pretty sure Saban knows that.
He's thinking about the process and preparing his team to win another national championship.
His problem is not knowing when to dial it back a bit.

Remember the miracle that Saban's team needed against Tenn last year.

Saban is the standard right now. i think it's a fair comparison.
Many LSU fans are still in complete denial and their only comebacks are "UAB" or "Iowa"
FEAR DA HAT!!!!

If you really feel that way, put on your flaming A tshirt and move to tuscaloser. I am so sick of people calling themselves fan and ripping the Tigers to shreds. Please keep your negative comments to yourself. Maybe you will explode and do us all a favor.
