And yea its more common than people give the players credit for.

Personally I would do the same, take that signing bonus money and go back to school. Focus on school/training during the off season would help the time go by faster.

Both harder and easier than it used to be.
Harder because they still have workouts and minicamps and such in the offseason. Easier because they make enough money that they don't have to have a second job like a lot of them did back in the day.
