In a few weeks, the basketball court will be changed to Sue Gunter Dale Brown court

Culotta said yesterday that the board of supervisors have the votes to change the court again to the Sue Gunter Dale Brown court. With football season being over, they will have a meeting in a few weeks. He said Gov. Edwards already called and made his voice be known about wanting to add Sue Gunter to the court and Tim Brando and Collins Temple are pissed about it and will voice their displeasure about it. He said this is Louisiana politics at its finest and that neither one deserves to have their name on the court and it should be Shaquille O’Neal court.

Naming of the court is pretty stupid. In 3 years, they will be saying "We're courtside here at the Dale Brown/Sue Gunter Court in the Mulkey-Maravich Assembly Center."

I always thought John Odo-Mayan Kiir Court at the Pete Maravich-Randy Onwuasor Assembly Center had a better ring to it

Sue built LSU womens basketball. If Dale Browns name is on the court, hers should be too.
Not really a fan of anyone not named Skip Bertman having the field named after them, but if you’re gonna do it, add Sue Gunter.

They shouldn't have named the court after Brown in the first place. But, the women's basketball team plays on the court and Gunter was nearly as successful as Brown (442 wins to Brown's 448). I know women's basketball wasn't even close to as popular as men's basketball in Brown's prime, but it's not unreasonable to put Gunter's name on the court as well if Dale's is there because of his career accomplishments.
