It's like people have never played baseball. Beatdowns happen all of the time only for the winning team to lose the next day.

So?

All it will take to get to Saturday is for Poche and Lange to throw well, and then it's all hands on deck for the Saturday game minus those 2 guys.

Texas A&M was 58-5 when we beat them 2x on the same day in the 1989 A&M Regional to advance to the CWS.

We beat hem 13-5 and 5-4 in Aggieland to advance.

Too bad we won't have a month before we play them again, if we play them again.

Hopefully, we can start to get it together against FSU. We got very lucky to beat them the first time. Yes, we had some great base running to get some runs, but if they don't commit all those errors, we're fricked. Our hitting wasn't there and our fielding was just as bad.

1960 World Series: The Yankees blew out the Pirates in three of the games, 16-3, 10-0, 12-0. But the Pirates won four close ones capped by Bill Mazerowski's walk off homer in the bottom of the 9th in game 7. It ain't over til it's over. Let it play out.
