Imagine you are Les Miles.
If you get fired they pay you 15 million dollars.
If they keep you, you only get 5 million... .... to put up with a bunch of crap from people who have never had your job and most aren't in the top % at their own

It's time to get the frick over this deal. Be happy that Les is not screwing us over and putting the school in a hole for 15 mil AND still having to pay a new coach top dollar. That would just drive up TAF fees and ticket prices for us. The man loves his job. I believe he wants to prove that he can do his job well and prove the naysayers wrong. Whether he can do it or not still remains to be seen. But all this crap "what would you do" type questions are ridiculous. He's going to stay for at least next year whether you like it or not. Support the school, team, AND coach or get the hell off the bus.

It's been stated numerous times that it's paid out over about 8 years, it's not $15M, Les has to seek other employment in good faith, and what money he makes elsewhere offsets the buyout LSU owes.
But it's easier for mouth breathing drooling retards to just repeat $15MILLION over and over
