Im very happy about Coach O being on staff...

The guy loves LSU and you can tell. I love the comment that he said he watched every play this season and cheered LSU on the whole way. You can tell the guy is real and sincere about being at LSU, and that he bleeds purple and gold like the rest of us. Nothing like a real LSU guys being here that will fight like hell for LSU!!!

One of those guys that, now that he's here, you wonder how he could have been anywhere else. He's so proud of the state of Louisiana and is a perfect fit for LSU. Welcome home Coach O

he is from Louisiana, his sons attend LSU.. I think a lot of his family grew up LSU fans
so that's got to be huge plus for his "passion for LSU" moving forward.

Whatever happens,
I hope that LSU locks him and Frank Wilson up into long-term deals. I think they deserve the "miles clause" taken out of their contract.
ETA: Coach O personifies Louisiana as a coach in my opinion in a good way. He has his rough side, but overall just a larger than life personality/culture. Can't believe it took this long to bring him home.

Coach O loves where ever he is at the time. When he was at Ole Miss, he said some nasty shite about LSU. But that's Coach O, that's the way he works and one of the ways he motivates players and recruits...by loving every bit of what he does and who he coaches for. A guy you love on your team, and hate when he's on someone else's team.

Seems like they all kind of know their places. Plus they have all been head coaches so they know exactly how the ship is sailed and how it sinks PeeeJ

Without the hire of coach O, we would be hurting. Game day coaching at the Coordinator level is still to be determined.
