the LSU fans represented on this forum sucks pretty bad. I've heard of fairweather fans but this is another level.

We've lost 3 games so far and everyone has given up and some say they refuse to support the team or watch the games now?

WOW.

I'm just as frustrated with last week and the way the offense has played in general, and I think we've underachieved to an extent and think we could have played better in most games. I can understand not agreeing with some of the things going on or things that are in place, but at least support your team for crying out loud.

I guess it's true what they say. The only portion of the fanbase you ever hear from or hear about is the 1% idiotic lunatic fringe.

You cannot have it both ways. If you're a fan, player, or coach who enjoys the positve attention that surrounds LSU "passion", then you have to recognize the flip side. Passion when we perform poorly is just as strong as passion when we win. It's like the people who stick their chest out when Tiger Stadium gets mentioned as a great venue, then complain because some fans stand the entire game.

"everyone has given up"

This is far,far from the truth.

Frankly, people began to try to mend the situation after the initial "outburst" of emotion on Sat. and Sunday. Come Monday a good many were ready to move on in support of the team(team==players & coaches).
Threads of this nature (this everyone has given up nature) continue to trickle in and it's just dragging the healing out longer. You're right-it's nothing new. Let it go so we can get back to the business and enjoyment of LSU Football.

The useful idiots will always be with us, running interference for mediocre (or worse) coaches under the banner of "support".

I sat through the games in Tiger stadium during the 90's. I yelled and cheered until I went horse.............I'm pretty sure I wasnt supporting the coaching.

Yeah. To lump everyone in the same category wasn't accurate on my part. It's just discouraging to see multiple threads about "why show up", "black out the game", "i won't even watch now", etc, etc.

I wonder what some of these people were watching in the 80's and 90's to feel this sense of entitlement of 0 and 1 loss season every single year with national championships every other season and that one or two bad games every year is "unacceptable".

This isn't a pro or anti Miles thread. It really has nothing to do with him. I couldn't stand Dinardo or Mike Ditka but I still supported LSU and the Saints when they were coach.

I'll always support the coach we have, that doesn't mean I'll defend him.
