I have been critical at times- let's face it, our offense has been ATROCIOUS to watch for most of this season. I have been supportive of Miles for the most part, but I do think that Crowton has not been putting our offense in best position to make big plays, until yesterday.

Can we not simply enjoy the win and hope for many more games like what we saw yesterday???

It is funny that the first thing the "positigers" think to do is go on a message board and try to serve crow. We have our best win of the year and they want to try to call people out etc....to me that is a "negatiger" instead of enjoying and celebrating a win they want to get on here and divide the fanbase at a time we are all celebrating. I have heard statements such as all you fans that picked bama aren't real fans and what do you think of miles now and even some saying we owe JJ an apology.

I was a huge JJ supporter at the beginning of the year but performance is what it is all about. JJ played great yesterday and I hope he plays to that level the rest of the year. But stating that the fans who lost confidence in him based on how he played and JL played is ridiculous. Most of the fans I know didn't hold a vendetta against JJ they just thought he wasn't getting the job done so we should apologize for facing the realities of how he was playing?
Miles outcoached saban so what does that prove? He is all of a sudden not the coach who has had numerous game management problems? LSU is loaded with talent and it should not be shocking that we beat bama....many of you act like we arent a ranked team and pulled an upset for the ages.

LSU fans whether negative(realist) or positive should enjoy this win for one f'n day just like the team does.

No i just think the term negatigers doesn't apply to all the fans that question things. Maybe there should be positigers, negatigers, and realistic tigers.

I love it - negatigers have been trying to divide the fan base since 2005 and call moral highground when it's time to eat crow. Stfu an eat your crow!!!!!

Oh and I love that they call themselves realitigers instead of negatigers! Our D had been huge this year and yeah the offense has been bad, but the D has Been lights out. We made folks forget about Ingram and that's hard to do

i think all the posi & nega shite have been extremely overused and played out....i'd like to see all those terms go away.

I don't know what to label you with the thread you started on how bad LSU would kick bamas arse and just some of the things you were going on and on about. From your prediction you must be disappointed that we only won by 3

I have to say I am impressed with the win! Miles and staff actually outcoached Saban, and I honestly didnt think that was possible.

Miles said Crowton had alot to do with the win, so I have to give him respect as well as Chavis.

Also, Jefferson played a great game!

Peterson may have given up some catches against Jones but he played great. All over the place and manning up one on one with Bama's best from Julio to Trent. Peterson's a man!

D-line played lights out!! Nevis is better than Dorsey!! He is a beast!!!

Shep was amazing and linebackers and secondary. Speaking of secondary, Reid!! WTH? He needs to start! For a Freshman, that boy is impressive coming in!

All in all, great win for the Tigahs!! I'm happy to eat crow and will keep my mouth shut the rest of the season!

Congrats and geaux Tigahs!!!

THANK YOU! I started a thread saying the exact same thing an hour ago and it got whacked or just faded off behind 3 pages or something.

I agree.

The "positigers" sure are showing their negative arse this morning.

Where's LSU GrandDad? He starts a flame threaed and then runs off. That's pretty chicken shite.

he's back. had to leave for awhile. therefore, i'm a flamer but not a chicken shite. guess some of you guys can dish it out, but can't take it. and i'm sorry cptbengal got banned because i really did want to hear his take. you know, he waa really the only guy i mentioned by name. some of you other guys surprised me with even responding. but when one constantly rags over a prolonged period and then gets it thrown back in ones face maybe a fierce reply is a little unexpected. i'm fine with calling a truce.

I'm a "realist" tiger. Really enjoying the UNEXPECTED win today.

I did not expect to win but always thought there was a chance. JJ had his best game ever. LSU had few penalties and no turnovers.
Miles is Miles and while I can't defend his blunders, I can support my favorite team.
Play calls were above the norm and exciting.
Lesticles was back to form.

My drive back to Bham on Monday will be sweet.

My take on the game is that this was the game I have been waiting all season to see them play. I knew they had all the talent in the world, but they repeatedly demonstrated unprepared and un-disciplined play, and the coaches often looked disoriented with their play calling and embarrassing clock management. I have been stunned that the JJ we saw play Ga. Tech nearly 2 years ago , seemed to be MIA since that game . If in your peabrain that makes me a "negatiger" go for it Papaw. No one enjoyed yesterday's game more than I did, Jack!

I enjoyed the win, the 7 that came before this one, and the 51 which came in the 1st 5 seasons.

Those who have done the same as me have often been called out on this forum with "how can anyone still support this guy", of course "guy" is just me cleaning up the language, so what's the big deal if a few guys want to crow a tad and even push a pile of crow toward others?

It happens on forums all the time and I'm pretty dang sure if the outcome had gone the otherway, the "I told you Miles couldn't beat Nick with his own players" would be here in full force. imo

Lets give those starting these type threads a little while to crow. It doesn't really hurt anything, does it?

We've all posted in the "crow" thread that Les and the team did a great job yesterday, in fact, most of us have posted it several times since last night. I don't see what the big deal is, really.

The mindset I was referring to was the one that you spoke of that wants to keep people divided. I'm actually done with this thread, but by all means, please continue. I'm sure everyone wants to hear who the real Tiger fans are from those who aren't.
so you're hypocrite.

never heard of you. so, i really wasn't even addressing you. you must be coming out of the closet or something. with your number of posts, you can't possibly be in the category of the posters i was calling out. what's wierd about this post is that, not only are guys i never remember reading coming out and being defensive but guys that flame miles and others constantly being so sensitive about being flamed.

Perfect response. Could not have been said better. I have been anit-Miles and Crowton all season. 1 good game does not take the place of 8 shitty games.

I'll admit it. I've been very down on Miles and Crowton for the way the offense has played prior to the 2nd half of yesterday's game.

The key thing IMO was the fact that LSU was down 2 starters in the secondary and Bama could not take advantage of this. Kudos to Chavis and Cooper for playing so many kids and have no appreciable drop off when backups were forced to play in the biggest game of the year.
