It’s Monday morning and I’m still ready to meet the white hat at Sonic.
Does the referee alone make the decision if it was targeting? I thought the review office in Birmingham made that decision or at least collaborated with the referee.

Honestly for the safety of QB's in the future that whole officiating crew should be fired (minus the one ref who flagged Turner for late hit). And the 2 useless aholes in the replay booth in B'ham should be fired as well. I'm not a litigious guy but I wish Daniels family would sue the SEC for negligence.

I think BK is a square by the rules kinda guy who represents us very well, with professionalism. A little boring, but I like it. I do think it opened his eyes a little as to what kind of league this is. I hope!

The SEC won't fire officials for doing what they were paid very well to do.
The SEC has proven over and over again that player safety is meaningless if it means getting Bama a W. We have seen this year after year, with LSU not being the only victim of blatant head hunting.

So according to LSU, Jayden had a concussion but played last Saturday and had an epic game. Clean hit.

It was so clean it drew a roughing the passer flag.
Alabama fans attempting to comment on rules is always hilarious.

Even the Bama paid refs called it a penalty.

I'm so glad you saw that too! The runner actually knocked him back. How could he be called for targeting a runner that puts his head down!!

Yet we were told the Turner hit was “reviewed” we just didn’t see it? Really?
Turners’ hit in Daniels was absolutely targeting by the rule. However, we may not have seen them review it on the field because Daniels was down for what felt like 5+ minutes. Sams’ hit didn’t have that downtime.
With that said frick the Bama refs and the SEC. They killed any chance lsu had in that game with their bulkshit non targeting call.
