Nah, I'm not about dirty play, but when a guy is doing that you start going in nails up until he stops.

Not when you can't run through the guy blocking the bag without getting thrown out the game.

The rules state that you can not block the base without the ball. In college, if the runner collides with the fielder the runner will be ejected. But if umpires don't enforce the "no blocking the bag" rule what is a runner to do?

I've told you what they should do. You don't go in high, but a strong feet first slide will put an end to the shite with the quickness.

How many times have you seen a guy run through a guy covering a base on a steal of second or third??

I'd be willing to bet a few grand that you haven't played baseball since you were 12 years old

You cant block the base without the ball, but you're allowed to stand in a necessary position to catch the throw. The other day, the catcher was just waiting for the throw which happened to be perfect - on the correct side of the plate. Similarly, with Bregman stealing, the infielder was just waiting for the ball.

Unless the throw is way late, the fielder has the right to wait for the ball. Obstruction will never be called if the throw is on-time or close to it.

If you only knew how much baseball I've been around since I was 12, you'd be ashamed for making that statement.
