I'm sick of Chavis

Reading twitter reports and seeing him take shots at our offense (which we all do, but I digress)...
He is the answer to the biggest question of the year, " How did LSU not win the national title with all that talent in 2013?" Because the defense was awful.
Where was the $1.7 million dollar man when we played Miss State and Auburn this year? The only way we win those two games was to put up 40 points or more.
Where was the $1.7 million dollar man when only one tackle inbounds in the last 50 seconds may have won the Bama game? They ran 7 plays with no timeouts in 50 seconds because they were able to get out of bounds or get a first down on every play.
Carry your arse!

How many years did he save Les' arse with a great defense though?

This all started with Miles two-three years ago. 1/9/2012 was a perfect prediction for things to come. Little will change next season. Same offense, same quarterback, same underused/misused talent. Book it.

I could say the same about TOP offense making him look like a genius. 2013 showed you what a Chavis defense looks like when the offense actually scores in a timely fashion.

Sometimes the truth is hard to swallow, that now makes two former OC's and one former DC who has attempted to point out the problems but LSU blow hards don't want to hear it

What shots did he take on our offense?

He also is the reason we did not win one in 2012. The offense finally came together starting in the USC game and Mett finally developed by the Bama game and his candy arse lost us that game.
In 2011 our fantastic defense was complimented by a very redzone efficient offense. In 2009 our offense was relatively 2 dimensional.
The lie of Chavis is we really only had 2 BAD offenses in his tenure 2010 and 2014 and in 2014 our defense sucked until our offense played keep away and was top 5 in TOP.

You mean how many times did LSUs elite talent make him? Quite a few. Chavis isn't that great without elite talent. You saw hie bad he was with an inexperienced team last season.

If he would have left two years ago, I would give your statement an up vote. But he didn't. He carried us for a few years, but he also broke our back the last two seasons. Now he acts like a bitch with this contract clause because our AD finally grew a pair as said, "I'm done giving in to outlandish contract demands without getting the results in wins/losses."
Chief had been well compensated for his time here, and he was receiving a raise. If that good enough, good luck having a good defense without Mingo, Mathieu, Peterson, Claiborne, and Reid. Cause those guys play offense at A&M.

If you hate LSU so much I'm sure there's a ULM board you could post on and trash them.
Season is over.
If LSU went 11-1 next year you same people would be bashing the coaches and players.
Do us all a favor and stick to posting elsewhere.
Constructive criticism is one thing, these " we will always suck" posts are killing this board.

Per Dellanger's twitter, Chief said he is excited to coach on a team with a great offense.

Where was the 1.7 million dollar man when Beckwith was riding the pine and number 31 was getting abused to the point of being ridiculed? That's my question for 2014. To go along with the "how the hell does the 1.7 million dollar man avoid responsibility for those last minute meltdowns". He failed SCHEMATICALLY, with PERSONNEL, and in the Big Moment.
See ya Chief Aggie. When Leonard trucks your players for 200, I'll tip one back for you.

If their O is so great.........how was he able to shut it down so easily the last few years??

Let's just let him move on and wish him well. A change in direction was sorely needed. Not sure we need to stop there on making changes.
