Interim stuff doesnt count either.

Yes, Interim coaches are not responsible for most of the stuff that full time coach does to build a successful program. How is this so difficult to understand.

We beat the worst team in the east, Southern miss, and a 3-4 Ole miss.

I just hope the powers to be don't listen to emotional people like you

You people are ridiculous with your one sided views on who LSU's coach should be. There are a dozen coaches LSU could hire that will keep this program headed in the right direction. There is more than just one answer.

Are you saying the program is currently headed in the right direction? If it wasn't three games ago, then why is it now?

Also from the guy who cant punctuate, capitalize or structure a sentence properly. I guess they didnt teach you any of that at ITT.

This is always a favorite of mine. Its an Internet message board. I'm posting on a phone. Capitalization and punctuation isnt a concern of mine.

Be careful with the ITT jabs. I may be far more educated than you think. Keep at it Adam.

Are you going to RA again?

Do you really need me to enlighten you on the difference in being a HC and building a successful program and being a DL coach who takes over as an interim coach 4 games into a season?

If you can't beat PSU with one of the 3 most talented teams in CFB, then you can also lose to Mizzou, USM, and Ole Miss.

Orgeron > Urban

Damn you're dense.

In what universe is Herman as proven as Urban?

How many interim coaches have taken over stocked rosters like Coach O has at LSU and USC?

LINK
I've already posted this on the Coaches Changes board. You can research if you'd like. It includes Auburn, Arizona, Penn St, Clemson, Arkansas and others.

Well I already addressed a number of actual questions on a response a few short posts above. If you have a specific concern rather than a blanket "he doesn't have what it takes to build a program" response then I can't respond directly. I'm trying to help and you're not making this easy.

Edit: Actually it was your post and I gave a detailed response so be my guest and read it and we can use that as a starting point for this discussion.

I'm running along side the Coach O train..... Almost ready to jump on board!!
If we keep Aranda and can get a top O coordinator, He might just be the best thing for us....

Why would I need to do this? I already know the answer to the question.

Coach O has completely turned the program around in one month.

We have three wins over teams with a combined record of 8-12 who own two of the worst run defenses in college football. We are playing starters well into the forth quarter and our passing offense ranks #105.

Big fricking change!

Hiring coaches: He hired Freeze out of HS and now he's the HC of Ole Miss and consider ne of the top coaches in the country
Offseason: we don't know, but Moffit is singing his praises about what he's doing now and how the players are fresher and healing from injuries faster
Grades (accountability): Ask Valentine about accountability. Miles never called a player out in public. O has sent a statement that you will hold up your end of the bargain with the team or pay the price.
Run a clean program: I don't think Ole Miss got hit with sanctions while he was there but I could be wrong
We know he can recruit, we know he can motivate, we know he has SEC experience (bad and now good), we know he can work with a staff (he's admitted he had to change his approach), we know he can make tough decisions (he made the call to fire Cam and to drop your OC mid season regardless of what you think of him is a tough call), we know he's made adjustments to practice and he has discussed how he sat down with Ensminger to re-work the offense without an overhaul.

None of this is a large enough sample size to deserve a top 5/10 job in college fb in my opinion. We have no idea if Orgeron can do all the things necessary to run a successful program. We dont know now, we wont even if he beats Bama, we wont even if he wins a NC this year. I will say, if he does those things than he deserves LSU to take a shot on him. But his abilities are far from known just because he has our current team playing better than Miles did.

I can't argue that and it's also a disqualifier for Herman and Fleck. Thus why I see Fisher as the most logical choice. That being said, if O does run the table, outside of the self appointed internet ADs, the Tiger Nation will be screaming to hire Coach O.

I am hoping he has max success this season so that it is a no brainer at the end of it. I also like the idea of having a really good coach who is at his dream job. His heart is here and it's not just another stop or notch on his belt. He genuinely loves LSU and Louisiana and that sells recruits too. If he was a great recruiter as far away from home as California how great will he be recruiting for the place he loves.

I think if we are able to beat Bama on Nov. 5, many more fans will start to come around and see that Coach O is the real deal
