There's no reason either should have had any appreciable effect, but some of our retarded fanbase will sure as hell use it as an excuse for the lack of domination last night

That would be a pitiful excuse, IMO.

However, I wasn't a big fan of the team treating it as a bowl game. Is the team going to check out Elvis' home in Tupelo on the way up to Ole Miss, or the Bear Bryant museum when they go to Alabama?

To be honest guys I'm not a big fan of scheduling such a long away game. I always like the home openers.

I'd put more stock into we just faced possibly the 2nd best QB we'll see all year and maybe one of the best coaching staffs. Also, I didn't realize the 20 hour rule wasn't in effect for these guys. Preparation means alot at this level. Reminds me alot of the teamn LSU had when Dinardo took over. Capable enough to upset a big team, just not enough talent to compete with the Top 10 consistently. I think this was a better wind for LSU than alot may think.

or, I could be wrong

Uhh, Seattle is mostly at sea level or slightly above. Altitude should have been no issue.

Seattle's altitude ranges from zero to 500 feet above sea level.
