Like finishing #6 in the nation, highest finish since 2011? Having his team preseason top 10? Honestly don't want fans like you.

It's not a pipe dream. We should have the best chance of anyone not named Bama to win the West.

So if lsu does not beat a more talented team with a Hof coach, that proves O reached his ceiling?

If he can't win 11 or more games this season he never will.

What I said was pretty self explanatory.

You HATE him as a poster because he is positive? Lol. You sound like a very reasonable person. Ha.

I've been reading this site for months now. Ben is always upbeat and objective. He is a hell of a LOT BETTER POSTER than you, and that's a fact.

He has gotten every single thing he asked for including several coaching changes. He has 2 years to get some hardware or Mr. Woodward will move on. It's the nature of the beast.

Were you sleeping when Bama played UGA in both the SEC & National Champ Games in the same season?

Were you? Because that never happened. The year Alabama played UGA in the National title game, UGA played Auburn in the SECCG.

What you said was what you consider a fact. What YOU consider. The fact is, you have no clue. This season could play out a lot of ways. Lsu plays 3 or 4 top ten teams. Lsu could easily go 10-2 and have a great season and keep the momentum in recruiting and the positive direction of the program. But on your mind, he should be fired at 10-2. Lol. Good thing you aren't AD.

He doesn’t have to beat them to go 11-1 and finish in the top 5 before bowl selection to be in prime position for a CFP slot.

That is a very reasonable and achievable goal to show he can raise the program to the elite level of his predecessors.

If we drop another game we shouldn’t like we have for three straight years under O then yes I think it’s reasonable to believe his ceiling is somewhere below the CFP.

This team has everything a staff could need to succeed at that highest level, including veteran leadership on both sides of the ball, the highest paid assistant in all of college football that he inherited from the previous coach, a remarkably well set up schedule, not to mention a quality experienced starting quarterback that was developed by the best in the business.

If not now, when??

Exactly. Barring catastrophic injuries to key players, this is the year.
No more excuses or stalling.

Anything less than 11 wins this season would be disappointing.

It has to start somewhere. It has to start some time. What better place than here? What better time than now?

It may be now, it may be later. You act like lsu is playing swac teams outside of BAMA. They play 4-5 top 15 teams. Dropping a game, as you call it could happen. I've read your posts on here and know you are an O hater. That's fine. It was disappointing to lose two other games last year, but one of them we were literally robbed, and the other we lost a close one on the road as a 1 pt favorite, against a team that finished top 10.

none of this is untrue......but it still is not an excuse.
I've defended O since he was hired because I felt he was leading us in the right direction.
But this year hes got no excuses for posting 11-1 or better.

If you think 10-2 in the SEC west is failure you're crazy...and I mean that in the best possible way
