I'm not saying for others do so, but...

I'm giving the whole "what needs to happen for us to play for the NC" talk a break until and only until we play in the SECCG. This team has a chance to "grow" into something, but folks need to get healthy and players need to execute at another level before that kind of talk resumes. This is a decent team, but not on that NC level just yet.
And an important note, I'm not going to be devastated if this team doesn't get there. This year's squad will have to overcome a WHOLE bunch of obstacles in order to get there.

The SECCG would be a major coup for LSU. It would mean mid season adjustments worked, which is difficult to do mid season. I think 9-3 is attainable. Anything more is gravy at this point.

That's why I didn't want to comtemplate the "computations" for us to get there "if we run the table." If we ran the table, we will all be doing cartwheels just for that feat in and of itself. But I think there is a good chance we drop another 2. Not being negative...just what I expect. I still really think highly of the adjustments they made on defense just last night. That staff showed me the professionals they are doing that.

Never had those expectations for this year and figured 2-3 losses but I'd be stoked if we landed a BCS bowl and that is possible.
