Really? They'll put up at least 40 on us.

I think our D will have issues with Bama's O, but this is not a spread O which has REALLY caused us issues. I think we will stop them at times and if Mett has a game like last year we definitely can win.

Bama's offense started the year off badly and has slowly improved as the year goes on, like championship teams do. I'm not afraid they will light it up because they are more talented, but they are disciplined (much more so than LSU) and have bought into that whole process thing. They are running like a machine at this point.

It would take a lot of turnovers to keep LSU in this one.

Yep. Disciplined, talented and meticulous. They will march up and down the field. Their offense is the total opposite of how I feel about our defense.

I haven't seen an LSU defense so out of place since the "MalVeto" Defense.

Me either, i am scared of.our shitty defense.

Hammer meet nail. (No offense to Coach Elmer Fudd).

Bama will push our D line and linebackers into tomorrow. Hell, Furman got a push on that front seven.

I'd be scared of St Aug's offense with our crappy defense. Sorry, but everybody wanting Miles gone, how 'bout the Chief? Sitting back and not being aggressive and letting everything being complete underneath, and basically no defense against the run I'm tired of it. 3rd and Chavis is alive and well. It was a little better in the 2nd half this week, but, come on, it was Furman.

It reminds me more of Tepper's defense.

I see that too. It has been entirely too easy to throw the ball against our DBs.

Oh, is that all we have to do? Wow, that sounds easy, I think we'll win.

Good grief, have you not watched Bama this year? They are precise and clean on offense. Nothing spectacular, just cold assassins. We'll put up a good fight, but they'll handle us at least by 17 points.

If our defense can't force a couple turnovers and 3 and outs then we really don't have a chance to win imo

Bama's offense is a lot simpler then uga's in its passing game and running game. They run a one back set except in short yardage downs like 3rd and short. That means there is no fullbuck that you have to worry about which I feel is what we have struggled with. Some of the linebackers have been reading the plays nicely its just they don't take on the block like they should.

Passing wise they do a short to medium passing game with simple routes like drags slants ins and outs. Nothing that difficult to cover.

Honestly if you guys think that the defense won't be ready to play bama especially with a week off you are crazy. yes we gave up 27 to ole miss (but only 10 in the second half.) And we gave up a lot to uga (I think murray is a better qb and that their offense is more complex then bama) but I think the d will play the best game they have played all year.

And most teams will. LSU gave up 198 yds to Furman. And they had PLENTY of chances to score [TOUCHDOWNS] and were not able to. LSU WILL step up to better competition D, But will likely fall short because = talent on both sides for both teams[depending] on turnovers =A win for Bama. Its ALL ABOUT COACHING. Saban knows that LSU is the last real chance to get beaten this year. He KNOWS how to get his team READY for a game like this.

REALLY??? You are dumb. YES LSU HAD Bama last year and what happened???? Plus Bama lost to A & M cause LSU physically beat the shite out of them and it took its toll in the 1st half of the A & M game. Not an excuse but its the way it is. I assure LSU is glad they have a week off before they play A & M, cause Bama is gonna physically PUNISH this LSU team.

I mean they will probably run right up the gut on us.. why shouldn't they?

How many sacks does our front 4 have? How many TFL's do our front 4 have?

Did our DL even get a sack in the Furman game? I saw a couple of corner blitzes, but that's it
