I'm just happy to care again

For the last few years, Miles had drained me of enthusiasm for LSU football and I hated him for it.
I went to fewer live games than ever, despite being a 25 year season ticket holder who had rarely missed in the past. I (gasp) left games early.
I didn't bitch and moan if I had a conflict and had to miss a game. Sometimes I wouldn't even watch the replay. The Rant became my least favorite board.
Yesterday, I was so excited about the Ole Miss game. I didn't miss a play and will watch the game again today.
Coach O, for that, I thank you.

And it's not just winning. I was excited under Dinardo and Hallman. I never got the impression that they didn't give a shite.

I'm happy to see the kids having fun again. They work incredibly hard and it just seemed like the last couple of years football stopped being fun for the team.
