I'm going to take a wild guess re: future of the program

We will lose to Alabama and suffer from annual mediocrity while having the best recruits and most nfl players.

It's simple. We wanted to fire Les, but weren't going to can a good coach unless we had a great coach lined up. We were waiting to land Jimbo. Jimbo said no. So now we're keeping out good, not great, coach.
