the out of bounds catch - seems the scoreboard replay only showed the foot out of bounds. They don’t want to talk about reestablish in bounds at catch

What I love is hearing Bama fans whining

Tell them the ball was tipped so he didn't even have to re-establish himself.

Ok let's give the gumps the benefit of the doubt on that one and say they're right. Can you really look at how we were moving the ball in the first half and deny that we wouldn't have made those yards up anyway? It's not like that one play (which was called right by the way) was the difference in the game.

He can't legally reestablish himself in bounds if he wasn't pushed out, and be first to touch the ball. This is true.

BUT.......

It was ruled he was pushed out. In which case, he can reestablish himself in bounds, which he obviously did.

The ball was touched by an Alabama defender first, which means he was second to touch it after reestablishing himself in bounds. The push, or non push out, doesn't matter in this case.

I just got back from a week in GS. They were all pretty meek about the program. They seem to know Dicky has peaked and is spiraling down.

As I pointed out a few weeks ago, gumps still argue Eric Reid's interception. It won't go away.

Also remind them that it was only 1st down and we were on the 18.
Do they really think they would have stopped us anyway?

Ask them for their comment on this play, where Calvin Ridley clearly went out of bounds on his own (the sideline official even threw his cap to indicate such) and yet the play stood without even so much as a discussion.

LINK

That should shut them up.

and he was pushed out, and that one play was not the difference in the outcome

And LSU fans still argue PP7s interception. What’s your point?

The officials and the conference consistently screw Alabama. Just the way it is.

I was in the stadium for the game. They initially showed the foot out of bounds and they all lost their minds, but then they showed him reestablishing. None of them are football savvy enough to understand how the rule works.

Ok, but that one was ten times more obviously blown, and it was absolutely the difference in the game. We get that ball back, we have a chance to win the game at the end of it.

They rule the Moss catch as an incompletion, we're making those yards up in about 1-3 plays, and end up scoring on that drive anyway (with 3 other quarters of play after that).

That's not a good comparison.

That is correct. BDS stadium replay was 90% the foot OOB from the pylon cam. This whipped the crowd up to a frenzy and when then call was upheld I was surprised they didnt pelt the field with trash.
Contrast that with TS where they hardly show any controversial replay

If they want to rehash old news, tell them that you are still complaining about Patrick Peterson's catch which was not out of bounds.

Tell them that we now control the REC. Have some fun with it.
