Dude is a major upgrade.

He sounds like he should be doing MLB games.

Blair just said Cincinnati tried a hit & run with the batter an 0-2 count. I want Jim back!

I keeed I keeed. Dude sounds really good so far. Can't wait to watch our football highlights this year with the radio dubbed in.

I feel like I'm listening to CBS radio or some other national affiliate. Dude has a professional something about him. One inning and I'm already anticipating his football broadcast.

It's like making the switch to HD. Can't imagine going back to the way it was.

Jim's a legend for sure, and his love for LSU will likely never be matched.

but CB has the edge on actual PbP imo, he just has "it"

Hawthorne would already be acting like it's 3 hours past his bedtime with LSU down 1-0

Thumbs up for Blair, but I still have to say that I am going to miss Jim Hawthorne.

I don't like the way he said strike 3. I am having a hard time keeping up with the game. His calls are too slow. He has no emotion in his voice. Did you hear the 2 sec.s of dead air? His calls are too fast. He didn't gave the distance in feet of that ball hit to CF. How can I keep up with the game. He has too much emotion in his voice.

I agree. It was odd hearing someone else at first but man he sounds like a true pro.

Not sure about Doug yet
