John Brady took us from the cellar to the final four. 1999-2006 were some very fun years. I haven't enjoyed LSU basketball since then. Looking forward to next year when we have real talent.

Maybe we'll actually make the tourney or NIT at least, not elevating expectations beyond conservative projection. Need to assess performance on the hardwood over a stretch against quality opponents.

A bubble team would be a great start. I think they get in this year , next year sky's the limit

LSU basketball never changes, no matter who the coach or players are, I will say 17-19 wins, miss out on tourney, 8-9 wins in SEC.

We will be competitive this season but next season is where the NCAA tourney expectations will be warranted.

I just want to be .500 in the SEC and competitive. I think we lost something like 15 times by 10 or more points and three times by THIRTY

Yeah, I think it's a laugh riot half the fans expect this to be a tournament team, when the conference is the best it's been in over 20 years

I'm going to say he makes the tourney this season. Along with being a great recruiter, he's also a very good head coach. I think he will get the most out of this team.

I think there's a bunch of teams in the middle that hopefully we can steal some from that maybe we shouldn't quite yet. Alabama, State, Tennessee, Arkansas etc...

It didn't. We had two elite 8 teams, more than the acc. State, auburn, Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Kentucky, and A&M all have tournament talent. Carolina just went to a final 4. Uga got I believe 5 starters back?

Oh, I agree with that. It's going to be a dogfight to get to 7-9 conference wins. shite, if LSU gets to .500 in the sec with a nice OOC record I do think we're in. It's just tough to see an easy path to 9 conference wins right now
