I would say the most disturbing part, LSU quit in the fourth quarter.

maybe the same d line coach and same preparation is their on d line but do you have any idea if that d line coach is subject to new things this year because of the change in coordinators?.

they're not

it's the EXACT same defense

our front 4 had problems all year last year also. that's why we had such bad defensive games last year

quote:

oh and by the way the way...slot players CAN BE matched up anywhere on the field with corners especially they are their money players(i hope your not a player because all you do is funnel that same philosophy form your coach..lol)...this is something you never noticed cause ur just a arm chair wanna be qb who doesnt understand specifics

huh?

dude mccray has been our nickel back, at leats part-time, since 2006. he has gotten burned since then

he was routinely abused last year

teams scheme their offense around mccray. bo p didn't adjust. his disciples won't adjust.

quote:

different coordinator equals different philosophy

no it's the exact same playbook, scheme, playcalling charts, etc. i mean EXACT

we ran cover 2 man across the board a ton last year and in 2006

quote:

harivin a their best go to reciever...you can bet zenon or whats his name that played the other corner would had harvin covered...just ask raymond who coaches at lsu...if they arent then guess what lsu is stupid

not in 2006

not in 2007

i don't know why you expect something different now

quote:

sorry dude ur out of your league

out of my league?

you haven't even been watching LSU the past 2 years

Not arguing that point. But we are headed into game six, and the team is regressing, not progressing.

well look at it like this........i agree with u but the played really 4 teams who are low to average...as the season went on...they got more exposed in their weaknesses.....it was their in the begining and will be there until one year/spring season has grown into the team FOR NEXT YEAR.....personally for the team to win 8/9 wins this year would be good and next year lsu will or should win 10/11......

guys forget the nc's it aint happening for a while......for now ill take 4-1....sc gamecocks wont be easy...in fact i think their better than auburn

the most dissapointed thing was the lack of any defensive adjustments at halftime. That showed on florida's opening second half drive. It was shameful to know that after being down 20-0 it was quickly 20-14 and when you had the hope that the defense was going to be awake for the second half we saw the same results as the first half.

Our defensive schemes are terrible but our in game adjustments are even worse.

i see the difference maybe you dont.......i do agree with some of your points but overall these guys dont sceheme saturday nights like pelini did.....id have to go back to arizona state of 05(pelini learned quickly) to get what i saw this year thus far....bottom line...secondary is young and qb is killing us....dc isnt utilizing the players to their best potential.....

yes they do

bo p didn't blitz much and loved to play safties deep. he did run more zone, but in the end it doesn't matter too much. he ran more man in 2007

secondary is young

i don't think we have a starter in the secondary who isn't in his 3rd year or older

For the first time in several years, I don't think we can throw that around this year...we have some guys on the field who are just getting beat by better "talent"

we have the talent, our corners will get burned time to time but if we keep rushing four that'll happen more. Its difficult to guard a guy for 12 seconds instead of 3 or 4...it looked as if tebow had 15 minutes to throw the ball. Plus constant man coverage created huge gaps with their running game to go along with shitey tackling.

SFP before i started posting i couldn't stand anything you said but since i actually started posting you make a lot of sense

pelini may have not done this last season either. our inability to do it last year was overshadowed by the ability to be explosive on offense. The two losses last year was a prime example of his [pelinis] inability to adjust because our offense wasn't clicking.

this year however our offense isn't as explosive so this inability is overshadowing our offense. Its why it stands out more.
