I'll never understand the hate for Gary, he knows his stuff, well informed and doesn't sugar coat things. Guess people get upset because he doesn't have P/G glasses.

I've just watched too many games of his where he has been really negative towards LSU and very slanted towards our opposition. Maybe it's just me and the people I watched with...even my sister was like, "Is this a broadcaster from (insert opponents' university)."

Agreed!! These two have made me sick throughout all these years.... Saturday they'll be so quick to jump on the wagon as the game starts to get away from Auburn... Until..... (The bama game and they'll turn again.) I definitely hate Vern's fat arse the most.....he wears nick saban pj's to bed every night!

Was going to say the same thing... I get pumped when Gary is calling the game and Verne just supplies a level of comedy to the broadcast.
Plus that CBS jingle at the beginning gets me pumped up for some football... CBS College Football
