Aranda’s philosophy is to try to play shut down D. He thinks we can get pressure with 4, but that’s clearly not working.

Aranda deserves nothing in terms of "a pass."
Our D is littered with top-shelf talent and our D and been underwhelming almost all year.

Here's a novel thought.
Have an OC who is competent at scheming and sustaining drives. If you're not converting third downs in the first quarter, then for fricks sake... change the approach for 2nd, 3rd, and 4th.
Our defense is what it is. We saw flashes of great offense that disappeared like a beer in an AA meeting.

I'm as big of an Aranda fan as anyone. But he's no different than any other coach. IMO, he doesn't deserve a pass at all. He's the highest paid coordinator in the country and I expect him to put a product on the field that reflects that. He needs to imorove.

How many teams are there with better talent available on D than ours? You can probably count them on one hand.
Does UK? Does State? They held UF better than we did.
There have been six games. Show me where we've been dominant? Dave needs to earn his pay. Period.
Our D isn't playing like the best coached D in CFB.

We haven’t given up more than 21 points all season.
Does our offense have less talent than kentucky? Because they scored 26 points.
If we always expect the defense to win every game for us we won’t win shite.
They game is beyond that.
Look at Alabama in the last 3 championship.
