Happy as hell to start this thread…I'll also admit I was extremely worried about being 2-4 in SEC after the way we played against A&M.
LSU played it's best game of the year tonight. We played UNDER control, coincidentally Gray didn't play many minutes at all. We didn't take any stupid shots in the 2nd half with a big lead. More than anything I was impressed with the defense of Mickey. I think we are a better team when Mickey isn't trying to block 5 shots a game. Coaches told him to go for the rebounds and let his team play defense, and that's what he did.
We played like a top 25 team tonight--if we can show consistency like this, we will be dangerous rest of the year.
