Some info for my fellow Tigers based on my experiences going to games at the Rose Bowl.

- Tailgating on the golf course is fun, BUT don't plan on going anywhere after the game. If you park on the golf course, the traffic getting off of it is insane! Just save some extra beers and hang out for a couple hours.

- If your not setting up a tailgate, try not to park in the golf course. There is some street parking within walking distance to the Rose Bowl or you could buy a parking pass for one of the lots.

- Old Town Pasadena is a pretty cool area and has several bars and restaurants. It is the closest area to the Rose Bowl as well.

- The taco trucks around Old Town Pasadena are legit! Look for the ones on Fairoaks Ave (south of the freeway)

- North Pasadena (North of the freeway) is the hood. Not a nice area. Not as bad as Compton, but still try and avoid it.

Have fun in Cali. GEAUX!

Could you be a little more specific? Where is a good area to park nearby that would be a short walk to the golf course area to tailgate? Planning on being there before 12:00.

If you can manage to get a parking pass for one of the lettered lots south of the stadium (A,K,H,I) exiting takes no more than 15 minutes. You might have to pay $50+ on Stubhub to find one but I find it's well worth it.

What exactly are you asking about Arcadia? Its a nice area, a lot of Asians and some really good Asian food.It has more of suburb feel to it. Its further away from the Rose Bowl than Pasadena.

Just if it’s a nice area which you mentioned it was. I haven’t been in So Cal since I retired in 2013 so I don’t remember. I’m thinking of staying In Arcadia because it's not that far away to the east and is convenient to the L line.

There is a little bit of street parking on Seco Street, east of 210. Those spots would be super close to the Rose Bowl. If you head west of 210 on Seco, it turns into Mountain Ave. There are several residential streets that people will park on off of Mountain. Parking there is about a 20- 30 min walk to the Rose Bowl though. To be honest, your best bet if you are looking to get out of the Rose Bowl fairly quick is buy a parking pass in one of lots mentioned above.

Will the golf course be open to the public on the Sunday after the game?
