How about Adam Gase. Best young OC in the NFL and he has LSU ties.

Why do we need a new OC? The fans love Les.

It’s a real interesting thing, a serious overhaul of the offense. Does that include Leonard Fournette? Are we taking the running game? Then there’s not a serious overhaul, because the motor appears to be pretty stinking strong, right? Offensive line, protection-wise, was tremendous tonight. Do we want to consider change? You betcha. But I think a serious overhaul, maybe it’s appropriate, but maybe it’s a little much. … When you have change, sometimes there’s staff change, but sometimes there isn’t. That would be a natural contemplation.”

Will make 0 difference who OC is.

It doesn't matter who we get as OC!! unless Alleva and the President tell Miles he has to leave the offense alone we will continue to suck on offense!!

And they won't tell him anything, and he wouldn't listen anyway. We go 8-4, 7-5 next year and he is fired.

There is no chance whatsoever that Gase would give up the OC job with the Bears to take an equivalent position under Les Miles in the college ranks. In any case, it's widely expected that Gase will be an NFL HC next season.

I think Les knows he has to change something, and there's no was he can bring Cam back.

Gase is in the running to be an NFL HC at the end of this season. It'd be a great hire for LSU (OC/HCIW...?) but, let's be realistic; it ain't happening.

Miles wants power running? Fine. Get someone who can implement a passing game out of conventional, pro-style formations.

I'd want someone with past HC experience, hint hint, and I'd want someone with a strong enough personality to tell Miles "NO" when he tries to meddle.

So CCC is the scapegoat what about Steele. Alleva isn't going to change the buyout clauses so what's the point. What OC is going to come without a buyout clause for them.

Exactly, and now Miles has more leverage than he ever had!
