would it be tough for you to handle? With Ritter making the final call in Bama's favor.

Alabama has experience with this kind of loss.

It would be tough for me, but nothing compared to how it would be for Bradley Dale Peveto. He would probably pray for a quick death.

Les Miles would go to jail. that referee, booth guy and crew should be banned rest of the season.
That's as bad as I've seen ever.

What if we had won on that play how would u feel?

Yes but even then it would not be worse than the 2012 BCS game.

LSU fans have already been to the deepest part of football fan hell and lived to tell about it.

Knowing the fix is FINALLY in for us, happy as shite. I'd be salivating over the prospect that Ole Miss fans would be expecting the same.

Worst "what if" conspiratorial post in the history of the Rant. And that's saying a lot.

We wouldn't lose like that, we have much more aggressive atheletes. It looked like Duke could've stopped them multiple times had they weren't trying to play monkey in the middle.

It was played very badly. At least have 2 track the ball. The rest, take out blockers. You have a HUGE advantage against the blockers in that situation.

I thought Duke's coverage was pretty darn good. How can you run an 8 lateral kickoff return play flawless with no practice. It was simply a miracle. A horrible way for any time to lose on a miracle play.

Duke stopped them multiple times and Miami got away with 3 different blocks in the back, plus the refs reviewed the knee down (which it was) and they still got it wrong and then overturned a penalty.

FIFY

And as for the OP question, it would be epic!

There were 2 blocks in the back, knee was down, and Miami player ran on to field without helmet during the play. Duke got jobbed.

This just goes to show how dumb our fans are. Losing in the national title game isn't the bottom of fandom hell. It's not even close. Hell Notre dame got beat worse than us just a year later. It was 35-0 at the half.

The thing that amazes me about the sport of college football is how they can throw a flag and then "pick it up" and not penalize anybody. I don't know if this influenced the Duke defense on the last play but it certainly added insult to injury. This is what I would have had a problem with should that have happened to LSU.
One of these days these college coaches are going to figure out a way to not let the other team win with only seconds on the clock. Michigan and Duke were just victims of fate but I'm sure if they had it do over again they would have done something different......
