I'd imagine that's the reason why LSU now has not 1, but 2 of the best dline coaches in the nation now after going that long with a guy out on medical leave.

I agree, the staff will likely bring in a minimum of 2 guys that were all Conference Americans at smaller schools. I'm sure Davis and Peoples are working heavily on that.

By LSU standards I have to agree. LSU is known as DBU but during my lifetime they could've just as easily been DLU. Having great D linemen is something I took for granted. Same with RBs. Don't it always seem to go that you don't know what you've got till it's gone?
I'm hoping that a massive improvement in coaching will offset any talent deficiency LSU might have. And hell, these young guys might turn out to be awesome. There's just no way to know at this point. But better coaching certainly isn't going to hurt anything.
