No, and there are obvious reasons why he is better. I don't want to get banned by posting something no one can argue.

And all the recruits that are jumping ship...let them jump...they will be begging to get back in line once they see an Offense master mind heading LSU next year.

And even if they don't, look what he did with Houston athletes. We have championship caliber players now, and a potential Heisman winner. Unfortunately, I do believe LSU will miss out on the Heisman if Miles stays. He has no clue as to how he should use LF.

Herman is my first choice. He's young and hungry to create his legacy. He has something to prove. He will work harder than a spoiled established coach. He is as good as it gets offensively. Just hope he understands importance of defense. I'm all in for him.

Much agreed, Herman will spread the defense so thin, LF would hardly be touched, And Saban would start his "stop the no-huddle" with NCAA shite again. And probably retire

And I do believe this is on the mind of boosters as well. It's not just wins vs. losses. How much publicity does winning a Heisman bring to a university? We haven't had an opportunity this good in years. If used correctly, LF could win it next year. It's not about total yards, it's about a player that fundamentally changes and helps their team win. He is not being used to the fullest of his ability, Les has no clue, sorry.

Would love to have him. Probably more than jimbo and chip kelly. Would take any of them three.

Look what he's doing with Houston with a QB who wasn't even playing QB a year ago.

You lying SOB. He was similar to Boykin's situation. They twisted in the wind with the other guy, and when they finally let him play, he went 6-2.

2014
177/263 (67.3%) 2010 yards (7.6 ypa) 12 TDs 7 ints
118 carries 573 yards (4.86 ypc) 6 TDs
15 rec 139 yards 1 TD

2015
196/283 (69.3%) 2502 yards (8.8 ypa) 16 TDs 5 ints
161 carries 893 yards (5.55 ypc) 17 TDs

This is more because of his natural progression than ANYTHING Herman did.

Last year he was a WR/QB at the start and had to take over QB and learn on the fly. After experience under his belt, he has gotten much better this year. You guys are giving Herman WAY too much credit.

The years we had Zac @ QB ODB3,Juice, and J hill we would have gone undefeated with all kinds of passing records.

We did that. First sec team with 3000 yards passing 2 1000 yard wrs and a 1000 yard rb.
We had a rb that was breaking the sec single season ypc record and having the 2nd best rushing season in lsu history

Yes, but how would 'she' look in a dress?

Well we didn't have him then and were not going to have him next season though another sec school might. Try again

And the people that say we shouldn't take a chance, well, think back to a guy that was at Michigan State, we took a chance on him.

If Herman comes here and loses 4 games 3 games and 5 game he will be run the frick out of town.

At this point, hiring Herman is less risky than keeping Miles.

Herman is also in the running for the USC job. He was raised in So Cal, played ball in So Cal. Definitely could be, but I would not lay money on it.
