If we lose again to Bama b/c we have no offense, will you sunshine pumpers acknowledge that the concerns have been valid and you've had your heads up your arse?

I will be very surprised if we beat Bama. With all the injuries and the way the offense is playing we would have to play out of our minds to beat them. Yeah Bama is that much better that us this year and for the first time since Satan got there I will say it's because of coaching. They are on another level on the offensive side of the ball compared to LSU.

Yes...

For a large majority of LSU fans, as long as Les Miles is the Head Coach at LSU, winning won't be enough no matter who we defeat.

What they will say, and I have no doubt about this, is that if McCarron hadn't thrown 2-3 picks, we would've lost. Bama turned the ball over and we only won by 4!! So no, the whining will not stop. Not a chance.

Most realistic people wouldn't because that would mean Miles and LSU offense actually brought and implemented their A+ game that everyone has been waiting to see.
Excellent answer to another stupid thread topic.

Of course look at last year, the Negatigers still bitched after we beat Bama in the regular season. Some Tiger fans aren't happy if they aren't bitching

Not very likely. Beat 'Bama and a lot of things are suddenly OK. Still cannot have a let down against Moo St or Arky or Ole Myth.

they've been whining ever since their Lord and Saviour Nick Saban left.....

The funny thing is a large majority of LSU "fans" complained about Saban's coaching when he was at LSU. Only after he lsft did he become a good coach to them.

Of course they will not. They cannot think rationally when it comes to LSU football.

Slackster, you gave that away w/your opening sentence. "Regardless how the game is played...."
Thats what I usually bitch about, the way we play. In all fairness to myself, I did not bitch about lst weeks game nor did I bitch about our W vs Bama in regular season last yr. But I am bitching about yesterday... If Mett shows up w/that same shite against Bama, that will be the advantage Bama needs to win. We have a great chance outside of QB play.

Who am I kidding? Of course you miserable folks will whine. Carry on.

Cap, LSU is not going to beat Alabama in football this season, so, you won't have to worry about that.

But, who am I kidding? You'll be on here attacking the critics no matter what happens.

Miles has lots of grounds for criticism, and, people who attack his critics miss the point of message boards, which is to vent and to discuss.

You'd have to have blinders on to predict an LSU win over Alabama right now -- you'd have to be wearing blinders and kind of delusional.

That's fine, of course. We really need the players and coaches to believe in their ability to win that game. Fans who are objective observers of football, because they bet on the games, or for other such reasons, are not going to predict an LSU win.

Based on what we have seen from both teams so far this season, by any objective analytical measure, Alabama wins.

But, to directly address your post, I will agree with you that no LSU fan should whine under any circumstances, should LSU beat Alabama.

No. The Bama game is sui generis. Bama is justifiably the standard by which many LSU fans measure the team. They are the prevailing national champions and ranked number on in the country. The reason that many folks are complaining about our offensive performance is because they anticipate that a similar performance will result in a loss...against Bama. Should we beat Bama, we will have dispelled that concern.
