Intresting post. However your teacher might be upset at your use of the English language and make you stay in at recess. I know third grade is hard for you but you need to try harder. Don't get discouraged though. We enjoyed the look into the mind of a third grader. Please post more.

Really? It is sure more than anyone else has scored on Bama this year. They average 9.1 scoring defense per game (ranked #1 in the nation).

It was a FG more than OM scored on them at BDS in the fifth week. We played good on O vs Bama, certainly better than we had played previously. But again, 17pts is nothing to brag about.

I don't know? Maybe because we are starting a first year player in the SEC and we have played some damn good defenses so far?

Mett is 4 yrs out of HS; not a kid. He's been through two springs and into his 2nd fall. Our O isn't that complex and it shouldn't take nine weeks for it to start functioning. Nor do I think we are compelled to accept that anytime we play a "great" D in the first eight games that we shouldn't expect our O to work.

I guess we should score every single time we get the ball inside the opponent's 30

Correct.

Where did I say he was a "kid". I said he was a first year starter in the SEC. He is. Fact.

You can't simulate game speed or a hostile crowd in practice no matter how bad you would like to think you can.

Our offense sure was working against USCe. They have a great defense.

Man, I really wished I lived in a world where everyone was perfect like you. I guess kickers should never miss FGs, turnovers should never happen, and a defense should never hold someone from scoring. What an idiot. How many teams ever have a 100% scoring offense in the RZ, let alone the 30. Jesus Christ.

Judging from their performance I'd say Henry has his hands full just w/ the receivers. Not impressed.

Just my sarcastic response to your silly overstatment.

Our O looked better than it did all year vs Bama. But most of our enthusiasm is against the backdrop of how sluggish we've looked most of the season.

Is 17 pts really reason to rejoice? Even if vs Bama? Is 23 vs USCe? We scored two TD's in '09 vs Bama(comparable D to this years) at BDS with Crowton as OC and a QB swap-out.

Compare Ole Miss: 1st year coach, 1st yr QB (soph fresh out of JC), with players we don't even recruit and five games into the season they score 2 TDs vs Bama at BDS (not just during trash time either).

I don't like OM; but simply pointing out other teams with less talent get their O's airborne much sooner than we do and our failure to fly earlier cost us a win vs UF.

The problem isn't with Mett (but appealing to his "1st yr" doesn't hold water either). There is something latent in our approach that hurts on the scoreboard and in the win column.

For those of you pissing on Steve Ensminger...I don't believe for one second he would have ever voiced to anyone that he was pissed at his boss (Miles) for playing Mett over Rivers. That's just fullish no substantiated blabber.

Not sure why SE gets so much nega tiger comments on the Rant. He is LSU through and through. He came back to his beloved alma mater. His credentials include several successful stints as an OC at D1 levels. But he instead chose to come back home where his heart is...LSU.

He is an asset to this coaching staff IMO

OC Cam Cameron. Another Bo Schembechler's disciple. It would strengthen Les's coaching philosophy. Currently with the Ravens as OC.

Se is true LSU, I am like some of the other posters, I think he is a good coach. Until the game last week what has Mett. done?

Let's see how the last few games play out. I thought the offense did outstanding against bama. The game ending attempt at a drive needs work though. I think we are headed in the right direction.
