What a dumb comment. Yes if they had Bryce Young they would’ve been better.

And even that didn’t get Bama the dub.

Go watch just about any game, there are often WRs open on most plays. It’s impossible to cover every guy at all times. That is where the DL and pressure comes in. You effect the passer to prevent him from finding some of those open guys.

Yes, it would have been maybe a 17-20 point win as opposed to a 31-point win. If Emery doesn't fumble twice though, we possibly score 50+.

This LSU secondary is its weakest in a long time. The only team LSU played so far that could expose it, did expose it. It's Year 1 of a new coach with lots of Freshmen and transfers so I expected little else but any team with a good passing game will torch LSU CBs and Safeties. Hopefully, recruiting and the Portal allow it to get better next year.

If LSU would have had Josh Williams instead of John Emery they score two more touchdowns.

Thats a more realistic scenario than them getting a SEC caliber QB on their roster out of nowhere.

Plus all the throws are NOT going to be perfect and DB’s do have closing speed, ball hawking skills, etc. Plus guys have to MAKE the catch as there are drops by the best WR’s also some hear footsteps if you know what I mean. You suck baw!

That's probably why they're 5-6 on the season. You can take any team in America and go "if they had better X and a better Y then they'd be a better team". But the problem is, they don't. They're the team we expected to play.

LSU has played teams with better offenses and QBs this year and still won. They took care of business last night. Not really sure what point you're trying to make.

They would’ve had one more touchdown. He missed 3 wide open receivers but it was all in the same drive that eventually ended in a TO on downs. It wasn’t an all game thing.

He was nearly perfect throwing the ball in the first half. What changed in the second half?

Pretty funny in that there were a couple posters on one of the game threads saying how good he was.
