I'm not saying LSU should have blown a 11 point lead at home, but people used the phrase "crappy UT team", which just isn't true

So we blew an 11 point lead to a decent(they're not making the tourney either) UT team.

for those of you saying tonight was inexcusable, you do realize UT is 9-6 in the SEC

So are you making the point that TJ has failed? First year coach at Tennessee has improved his team more than the four year coach at LSU.

Get used to it...because it won't be better next year. I know everyone thinks we will be, but I just don't see it. Who will back up JOB and Hamilton? We will have zero front court depth next year.

so LSU goes 11-21 (3-13) last year and are 17-12 (7-8) so far this year and didn't improve? i mean he hasn't set the world on fire, but people are acting like we're not any better than the last two years. i realize people are upset about losing tonight, and rightfully so, but some of y'all need to get a grip

It doesn't take a good coach 4 years to turn around a program in this day and age, we aren't even asking a lot, just a tourney berth without Brady's players

Well you could look at it that way, yes we are better than the last 2 years but is that really saying much? While we are mediocre to poor this year that's better than the disasterous putridness of the last two years. Wow, that's really saying a lot! And why should we even be comparing this season's meager success to 2 seasons that were (or should have been) completely unacceptable?! LSU deserves a better basketball program than that. This has got to change!

Tonight was unacceptable.
So had they won in OT it would have changed anything?

My question is, is this team better or did they just benefit from other teams in the league falling off a bit.

NIT bound for sure

Oh? I'd say there's a chance at the NIT, but it is far from sure.
