Absolutely not.

Key is a first round pick even if he never plays another snap for LSU. The shoulder surgery this summer, which LSU didn't even know was going to happen, was done in preparation for the NFL combine, not this upcoming season. Otherwise he would have had it done WELL before early summer.

A poor season may prevent Guice from becoming the first RB taken, but he's not going to slide out of the first 3 rounds because of it. At RB you go. There is ZERO reason to stick around and take a beating in college when you can get paid 6-7 figures to do the same thing in the NFL.

The NFL drafts on what you can become, not necessarily what you are in college.

No way is Key a 1st rounder as of now.

Mental issues on top of gaining a significant amount of weight are red flags.

Ask Dupree if he should have come back

Because our offense is lighting it up right now?

Dupre* just wasn't that good. Coming back wouldn't have made him better.

Much more important to get Clapp and Weathersby back.

And invest in some great anabolic steroids for both our lines

Key should stay, Guice should leave. Pretty sure Guice will leave as he's a running back. Key is anybody's guess. But there is no question he has slid at least 20 spots(maybe more) since the end of last season.

The complete ignorance of some of you is showing in this thread. Saying Key is not a first rounder, when he's going to be a top 10 pick is hilarious. Guice is also a 3rd rounder at worst, and that's only because RBs aren't as valued in the draft.

Funny, Mel Kiper (I know) doesn't agree with you.

nfl scouts know LSU is average this year with a shitty OL. Guice will still go 1st round

Guice should base his decision around his draft position. If he can be a bottom first, top 2nd pick he should go.

If the season continues to go as it has so far, he's not being drafted that high, IMO.

Do they come back for their senior year? If not, how far have they fallen in the draft? At this point, I do believe they should come back, but doubt either will. If nothing changes is it possible that one or both wouldn't get drafted? Simply put, disregarding past years performance, would their current play warrant a draft pick?

IDK about next year, but it sucks that our 2 premier players on O and D are not 100%.

They should not and will not come back. Guice should check into a mental hospital if he even considered coming back. And anyone who thinks Guice should come back is either extremely stupid or insane.

Pretty ironic that Guice has basically the same injury as Fournette did last year. I don't know about Key, but Guice only know how to play all out, just like Fournette, so there is no doubt in my mind that he hasn't checked out for the season like many of the highly rated juniors have done in the past.
