The scariest part is that he throws 103...and he puts it where he wants it.

Plus scouts are saying its likely that his velocity will increase.

I've seen him throw a couple of times and couldn't belive my eyes. Nasty curve/hook plus the fastball that you can hardly see.

That's a team you don't want to see in your regional.

Why? You'd only face him once. So you lose to them when he throws, come back and beat them twice when they throw their shite arms.

that Chapman kid from Cuba throws 100mph and got knocked around by Team Japan.

Just b/c the kid throws 100+ doesnt mean he'll be an automatic success in the majors. he'll have to mix it up and learn how to pitch.

I wonder what Hanover will command when he's drafted. You know, because he can throw it 100+ from third to first

I'd be curious to see the kid timed with the same device Ryan was timed with. Obviously ( at least we should hope ) technology has improved, but we can't go back in time with the new stuff to test on Ryan, so would be interesting to use the old stuff on this guy, for comparisions.

No, but it's a huge, huge advantage.

Over/under on how long before his 1st Tommy John surgery? I'll say 3 years and take the under.

Read the article, the kid knows how to pitch.

You can't use the same pitcher the whole post-season.

SDSU isnt going to sniff Omaha. He'll win 13 games and his team will win 30

Its a pretty good start. They can change things and make him unreal. Also he doesn't walk many guys which is huge. Oswalt was raw before he got to the pros. I was embarrased for his JUCO coach. Was just a country boy that threw hard. Look at him now.
