Considering all the same stats are as of today. Nobody on the Astros pitching staff deserves it so I must be a position player. Bregman seems to be having the best series.

Serious question: Have you watched the series at all?

Best all around for sure. He should win it if they take this game.

Serious answer: yes, and I believe he deserves it. That’s why I’m asking your opinion. Not a smart arse reply!

Even though I don't think he will, AJ Hinch predicted he would before the Series started

I think the Astros win Wednesday, and yes, Bregs wins MVP, he's awe inspiring

What would make you believe Verlander would get it?

RBI in every game so far, 2 HR, Clutch walk off, and plenty of defensive gems say that he has a shot. It's still wide open because so many have had a good series. Whoever the star is in the final game will probably get it.

I don't think he gets it. I think he is deserving and he has played well enough to get it. All professional sports like their all-stars and the faces of their game. They will give it to Altuve.

Bregman's overall play should win him the MVP. His glove has been even better than his clutch hitting.

Only person that is even close to competing with him as of now, is Springer. But his game 1 might screw his chances (depending on tomorrow evening)

Springer and Carrera are having a better WS than Bregman, but not by much.
He's clearly in the mix of the only 3 who are up for it, barring Verlander pitching a no hitter or something crazy to win game 6.
If Bregman has a 2-5 1 RBI performance and Springer and Carrera match him, Bregs doesn't win it, but he's close enough that he's 1 big swing away from locking it up, but so are the other 2.

He only gave up 2 hits in game 2 just so happened to be 2 homers. I think if he has a dominant performance he would be in the running but it would take something over the top for JV to get it IMO (which he's capable of doing)

Still have a lot of outs to go against a great team but if I had to rank it it would be

1 springer
2 bregman but razor thin
3 altuve
4 correa

History. If he has a dominant night On top of his first game the emotional aspect will push him over the top.

Haven't you made this thread like 3 times already????

Once again, its still totally up in the air.

Springer- has got hot at the right time. I think he actually leads for it right now.

Altuve- has picked it up late in the series. With a big game 6 or 7 he may take it. I'm sure they would love to give it to him.

Correa- dude pretty quietly had a monster game last night

Verlander- pitched a great game 2, even with the ND. If he throws a gem in game 6 and they win it could go to him.

Bregman is certainly on this list too, but he needs to have a monster game 6 or 7 to have a chance. To the people bragging about his defense, Bregman is the only one of these players who has an error. I know he has played solid defense, and didnt deserve the error maybe, but fact of the matter is that he has an error next to his name.

I think Verlander is the reason the Astros are in the World Series, and he's the team's MVP for the entire playoff stretch. But, you won't be able to give the WSMVP to a pitcher in this instance. Not with all of the clutch hitting, HRs, and runs scored.

Sorry I saw you have no response since you didn't work the internet. Now seeing the edit.

I apologize if you are butthurt over that but there are a handful of people that can easily get this. It's not that cut and dry right now so relax, chief.
