No they wouldn't. Their systems are incompatible. It is almost like saying Monte Kiffin and Dick LeBeau would be a scary tandem.

I'm reminded of Saban's first year at LSU, when he hired John Thompson from Memphis as his DC. Thompson was a hot name back then, and was told that he would run the defense. Thompson shows up at LSU, and at their first staff meeting, Saban proceeds to lay out the defense that LSU will run. Saban had no use for incorporating any of Thompson's ideas, and of course that turned out to be the right approach. Thompson left for Arkansas a few days later. That was before Saban had 4 crystal balls using "his defense".

Cam Cameron would never work for Saban after the shitpile he was left to try to clean up in Miami. CC never had a chance.

Remember when Baton Rouge native Major Applewhite made the inexplicable decision to become OC at Bama over LSU? Saban publicly chastised him after a loss and he lasted only one year. Major isn't as smart as I thought he was.

Very few established coaches will be an assistant under Saban, including Chavis and Cameron.
