1.Pruitt- If Tennessee let’s him go make him say no
2. Jim Leonard- young defensive mind. Solid hire.
3. Will Muschamp- my least favorite of the 3 but I feel like he can do much better than the shite show we have.
Thoughts? Anyone have other coaches to add ?

Charlie Strong is a respected DC. Plus, he has deep ties to Florida recruiting and also has recruited the Southeast and Texas areas.

Randy Shannon DC at several programs currently at UCF. Like Strong, African American. Check out YouTube video by "Tjs dad" and he says that LSU having no AA coordinators is now a thing with the players. Not sure if I believe him but I am an old white guy so what do I know about that.

Barry Odom from Arkansas wouldn’t be bad. I know the rumor is he tried last year but Odom had already took the Arkansas job. Maybe since it has been a year he would leave.

Really outside of DC’s at the big top programs LSU should be able to get who they want. Tons of talent and the defense can only be better than this season.

It's an attractive job but axing Bo after one year and O potentially being on the hot seat takes a little luster off of the position. It certainly hinders LSU's negotiating position. They'll have to offer security which means guaranteed money.

You also have to factor in the 4-3 aspect. Not that I think LSU's defensive issues have anything to do with how many defenders have their hand on the ground but you limit your applicant pool if Ed is set on staying with the 4-3 (and they should given current recruiting trends).

I like Jim Leonard, but I think it would take ALOT for him to leave Wisconsin considering it's his alma mater who believed in him as a walk-on. Money talks, but I think this would be a tough pull.

Barring LSU only winning 3-4 games next season O is here until at least after the 2022 season.

So why are the players choosing Alabama, and Georgia? Do they have AA coordinators? If this is TJ Finley’s dad. Go figure maybe that’s why he keeps getting the start over Max J. Dad playing the ole race card. I still don’t get why in 2020 race has anything to do with how qualified someone is for the job.

Bo Pelini is a respected DC in coaches, doesn’t always mean they can cut it now.

That dude is an idiot. Just listened to some of that. He claims the only reason LSU hired Bo is because the fan base isn’t ready for a black coordinator. Says that since the defense is all black players, then they need a black coach.

Typical BS from a “Spoke” society. If the best candidate is black then hire that guy. If he is a damn Martian from Neptune hire the damn guy!

Charlie Strong, Willie Taggart & Kevin Sumlin all must be white, because they all were/are in high profile P5 coaching positions and were fired for having shitty teams.

The thing is the players aren't getting but in position to make plays/win -- that pisses of players no matter the skin color of the coordinators.
