Wouldn’t there still be a void at LB coach? Aranda coached the LBs but Kris Richard is a DB coach.

Without great linebackers we would’ve lost 3 games this year

Dennis Johnson is staying. My guess is he will be LB coach.

pretty sure Richard can/could coach the LBs considering we just gave and extension and raise to our DB Coach...

I thought the latest rumor was that he was headed to Baylor? Did that change overnight?

Not sure why you are getting downvoted, b/c this would be my guess as well.

Many people forget that Johnson was actually assisting Aranda at the LB position, when he was a GA, before being moved to the full time DL coach position. So he has some experience there and saw how Aranda coached the position. Not saying this would be a home run, but could get the job done and you still have him for recruiting purposes.

The question will be who opens up the spot for that to happen. B/c if Richard comes on, then you only have the PGC/WR coach position left open by Brady. With no talk as of yet of Busch following Aranda to Baylor, it would be interesting, as he would seem to be the logical position on the defensive side of the ball (with a Richard hire) that would need to vacated to allow Meatball to slide into the LB position.
