If not for Ok st choking in 2011, LSU has it's fourth national championship, and second under Miles. If Chavis stopped Bama on that last drive in 2012, LSU wins the West, negating another of Saban's NCs. You could also say, if Vadal didn't get penalized late against Bama this year, Bama does not go to the playoffs.

I love these hypotheticals. Keep them coming.

Sounds to me like Nick Saban is one lucky mofo. Not Miles.

They didn't come even close to dominating us. We outrushed them by 50+ yards and held them to under 100 rushing yards for the game (which obviously included an OT period where we drove them backwards and they had to kick a 52-yard prayer). Bama had just over 50 total yards more than us, but they only reached the red zone once at our 17-yard-line. We had three red zone trips and made it down to the 2 before we had to kick a FG before half due to time running out. Bama just kicked a bunch of prayer FGs in that one that didn't work out and we got stronger as the game went on.

Look at LSU's history in firing coaches.... Look at the records of these coaches... What in the world makes people think LSU would fire a coach who wins 8 or 9 games on his bad seasons... Plus pay his buyout....

very interesting... If miles hadn't won a NC, 100 games and put tons of talent into the NFL he should be fired..... But that's not what happened... There are things I don't like about Miles....but I no longer attend games knowing we don't have the talent to compete.. During the 90's when I was a student it was obvious we didn't have the talent to compete.. I am realistic, therefore I try to be as positive as I can

First of all- my post was sarcasm...

You also didn't use the entire quote.

To suggest we don't have talent anymore isn't accurate. I lived through all of Archer and Hallman and watched the talent level drop drastically. We are not in the same position now.

It is nice you are positive. Enjoy the ride.

Good lord, if anything we dominated. Had a TD called back and if Randle doesn't fall down after catching the ball on the 5 we score two TDs. Where do you people come from?

The reality is in 2011. LSU had a better record with a much harder schedule and won the conference over the declared NC. They split the series. People let the media think for them.

2011 is the hardest schedule LSU has played in the history of the program. 07 ranks as #2.
