Will they receive a Sugar Bowl berth?

I know it's a big "if," having to beat a team that shut us out last year in Arkansas, a team that has the ability to stop LF7 the way Bama did.

Also, beating Ole Miss at Ole Miss will be tough as well. You're talking about beating a team that beat the team that we got destroyed against. If they can force 5 turnovers against Bama, I'm sure they can do the same to LSU.

Wouldn't SEC championship loser be more likely?

I think we would get the sugar bowl. The 2 teams per conference rule doesn't exist anymore, so I think for geographical reasons we would get the sugar bowl and SECCG loser would get the chicken bowl (because that game is a BCS bowl now)

Sugar Bowl will take the best available SEC team. A 2-loss East champion UF would not get the bid over a 1-loss LSU whom they lost to.

Bama getting the bid over Mizzou in 2013 is proof.

Nope. If the favorites win out and Alabama beats Florida in Atlanta, then 1 loss LSU will get a better bowl than 2 loss Florida

would depend on ranking. will a 10-1 LSU be ranked higher then a 12-2 bama or 12-2 Florida

I would think a 10-1 LSU would get the nod above a 12-2 Florida that LSU already beat.

But i would think a 12-2 Bama who beat us would get the nod. But, i would think they shouldnt. their losses would be to a 3 loss Ole Miss and a 1 loss UF, where LSUs only loss would be to a 2 loss bama, LSU should go IMO

I would say no, because Florida would have two losses compared to our one.

Also, LSU is 75 miles from the Superdome.

I'm not sure if it matters anymore (although it should), but LSU beat Florida.

I say we get in "if" we win out.

I would also say it largely depends on Fournette's performance moving forward. If he can get back to his 175-200yd games and get an invite to NY, I would see a major bowl wanting to put him on display. He's a marketable RB that people around the country want to watch when he's playing up to pre-Bama standards.

2. UF beats UA

4. Profit

Also 2012 Florida over Georgia, who was 5 yards away from beating Bama

I know South La likes to have catastrophe syndrome, but if we go 10-1 we still have a decent shot at making the playoff. Going 10-1 would put our chances at about 40%.
