I saw a video once showing the techs that buffed up the helmets each week. They would probably vote negative on the stickers. What a pain in the saban.

this is just theoretical... see if we can come up with something really good that they might consider doing someday

We had them back in the late '70s. I think they junk up the look of a helmet. Besides, football is a team game, and I think helmet stickers are counter to a team game.

Helmet stickers look like sloppy shite. It pisses me off when I'm watching a game and I cant figure out what the stickers on a teams helmet are. I'm watching the Orange Bowl right now, and I'm convinved that Stanford's stickers are little notary stamps.

They are actually axes, which makes absolutely no sense since their mascot is a tree. Why would you put something on your helmet that kills your own mascot?

Stanford's mascot used to be based on a Native American thing. They changed it in the '70s

Helmet stickers work in three ways
1) Ohio states way blank helmet the stickers add the character
2) simple helmet with awesoem stickers, the FSu tomahawks with the arrrow helmets is brilliant
3) little ones on the back liek georgia and ole piss
