I have an issue with it as well. To be successful with two right ends you need to be able to pass to them. Otherwise they are subpar blockers. In goal line situations why not bring in two backup tackles instead if you are committed to running. The 2te scheme can be successful and advantageous if you actually throw out of it.

There's no question we have to go to the spread. That's the way the SEC is trending and to keep up in recruiting we have to follow

Every team runs 3wr's then runs from that set. We run one wr so the defense can bunch up the middle. We have to get with the times, or continue to get embarrassed like the almost 600 yards MSU put up. Oh yeah welter is good

LSU isn't built for spread offense and I wish you guys would stfu about it.
They can line up 23 all the way to 00, but this OL cannot be spread out and expect to succeed.

What's wrong with 2TE sets anyway?

They are showing wide film cuts on cst. We had huge holes on runs some rbs missed.

They showed several plays from both the side and end zone view. In the side view, it looked like we got zero push. On the end zone views that we don't have access to, we had massive holes using this formation. We just had rbs run up the backside of their blockers.

I was not a fan of this formation for us this year, but honestly we almost had several monster runs out of it.

The frustration is that they don't seem to be doing very well with run blocking in the current offensive sets, so why not try something else?

I agree with you. Nothing wrong with two TE's. With that being said, I would prefer to see one of the TE's being Desean Smith in that personnel grouping. I think a two TE single back set utilizes personnel best.

This will be Les excuse. We will not see the spread until Les is in Michigan and we are playing catchup to A&M, State, Auburn, and now frickin Bama. Imo this year of pure stubbornness will set us back four years.

Man I'm telling you the holes are there, a single block was missed, ECt.

Mawae just broke down film on cst. It's over now. Honestly it totally changed my view. It's stuff that is impossible to see from a tv angle.
