Right. If he were to lead us to the BCS title game, we'd hate his guts. People have just lost confidence in him and are looking to JJ to deliver the goods, and it looks like he has the best chance to do so. Stop with the hate talk. No one hates him.

will you ever shut your mouth and accept the fact that Jordan J is our starter. What if Jarrett Lee does this what's if Jarrett Lee didn't throw 7 pick 6's what if Lee didn't throw that Int vs Alabama. What if Ron Artest didn't run into the stands and hit a fan then Reggie Miller would have his title

Hey, are you coach Miles? Even him didn't announce JJ is our starter.

no, but he is taking the most snaps with the 1st team. I don't see why you would be rooting against Jordan Jefferson

Good to see we have such loyal fans.

i respectfully disagree. this is just a ludicrus example. If it would have been something like "what if JL comes in and does good and complete the right passes and makes just a fre mistakes..." it would be more realistic.

JL's not gonna come in and throw 20+ td's and no int's. he's not. it's not gonna happen. so why come out with a stupid example like that.

and i agree, while i won't be jumping for joy if he's under center, i'm still gonna root for him to do his best.

i don't understand why some people just can't understand that one player is just BETTER than the other. not saying JL's not good or can't be very good. He's just not as good as JJ.

And if you watched all the games last year and can't see that, then there's no use in arguing with you.

Actually the point of this thread was to pose a really ridiculous 'hypothetical' situation that would spark even more debate over something that no one on this board has any control over. IMO if, and this is a very BIG IF, JL ends up playing significant time this year, i will rally for him to do good, to prove me wrong. However, i think in his situation, i am reminded of another QB that had really good 'potential, great arm, good release' - RYAN LEAF. The really good comparison is that it was all in their mind. It had nothing to do with their ability, it was a mind thing. When i watch JJ play, and i know it was only 2 1/2 games, his mind seemed to be calm, cool just what we want. All this to say, if JL does for some reason come in and throw 20 td's and 0 pick 6's i will eat crow and say i was wrong. The bottom line is, if we win i am happy

Ok, then let me ask you this. What did lee do on the field that a) makes you think he’s better than JJ and b) makes you think that he has a snowball’s chance in hell to put up 20/0? I mean, he must have been blowing you away. Maybe it was that game that I didn’t go to last year that he was lights out off the chizzle crazy awesome….

pretty sure this was NOT the point I was making.

to clarify my point, JJ has played two games.
He played well in the first half of both games and mediocre at best second halves of those same two games.
JL started 8 games.
Played well some games and not so well in others.

To say one is clearly better than the other at thihs point is stupid and simply not a true statement.

Let me say this.......there is nothing wrong with having a favorite.
I personally dont have one.
I want the one that gives us the best chance to win get the snaps... However right now I dont know which one that is no more than you, or anyone else does.
