If all the other conferences call it quits, I still play. I play with only home team parents in the stands. SEC would have ALL eyes on them on TV. Every game would be on CBS (2:30), ESPN and SEC Network (11:30, 3:00, 700). That is all 7 games every week. HUGE recruiting advantage. TV could charge more for commercials because EVERYBODY would be watching. SEC could negotiate increased TV payments to help cover loss of attendance/concessions money. Teams fly in day of the game as much as possible (they all use charter flights). Allow each school to cherry pick 1 player from these schools that quit playing (should get instant waiver to play since their school quit) just to be obnoxiousand show SEC power. ?? LOL If I’m LSU, I go after a pass rusher.

We still have 7 weeks till our season starts. This is also saying COVID doesn’t go too crazy from now on. Face it, the football team will be the healthiest and safest students on the campus if they are still having a season.

No one watches with nothing on the line. If only sec plays, no national champions will be rewarded. It’s basically just scrimmages!

Last time I checked the SEC Championship is the biggest conference championship in the land...

Two P5 commissioner downplay the "emergency" nature of today's call. They speak almost every day. That said, the seriousness of the discussions is clear. No indication on whether conferences will be united in announcement. "Ultimately I have to do what's best for my league."

Where is the Trump “wrong gif”. SEC champion is almost always in the Natty. And it can debated that most teams wouldn’t get in if they played in the SEC.

Well, look at this way, at least Vandy, Missouri, Kentucky, Tennessee, S. Carolina, Ole Miss, Mississippi State, Arkansas..............can claim they finished in the Top 14.

What’s going to “go south”?

Destroyed economies? Divided people? Culture of fear? People going crazy, turning against their neighbors?

We’re already Deep South of Sanity. This isn’t the plague. This isn’t even the Spanish Flu.

This is a crisis that has been exploited by powers at be to remove your freedoms because of a bogeyman.

You people claiming this is a head cold are as bad as the ones saying it's the end of the world. Two sides of the same coin.

Where did I say it’s the head cold?

But it ain’t Ebola either. It’s not taking young people. It’s not taking heathy adults. It’s not even necessarily a death sentence for older people.

I buried my Korean Vet grandfather with this shite. 10
People at the strangest funeral I’ve ever seen. But he was 86 and not in the best health. He didn’t want to be put on a ventilator to save it for people that really needed it.

So stuff it up your arse when you try to tell me I haven’t suffered from this.
Meet me at sonic, whatever. But get off your high horse before you do so. Use some common sense.
