Maybe he could improve control and stretch out his innings. Seems like he's not fluid throughout his motion and tends to be a little twitchy half way through. It's almost like he's trying to hard and should settle down a little.

He doesn’t have the stamina to be a starter

You should take Dunn’s place as pitching coach! You’ve figured it out!

It’s not his mechanics, he’s just not a starting pitcher and can’t last more than 2 innings

I think he just overthrows a lot. Like he gets a little too excited and gets too fast. His stuff is electric but there isn’t a pitcher on the planet that’s good when it’s 2-0.

He has thrown 90 pitches and still throwing mid 90s. His stamina isn’t the problem.

I believe he was still pitching in the 4th.

Agreed O, it's like he's trying too hard.

As long as Dunn is our pitching coach, the best pitchers can expect to do is maintain their level of performance during their career with us; most get worse.

He's doesn't seem fluid all the way through his motion, it's like he's using too much of his arm. I emphasized fluidity when I was the pitching coach for the Bangladesh national team in the 68 Olympics.

it's so easy to see that he comes out so pumped up then loses a little steam as the innings go on;

Im with

Marceaux on Friday Night
Walker on Saturday
Hill or Hilliard on Sunday

and hess in all big situations

they actually fricked with his mechanics to convert him to a SP. He'll never be the same again

pitching stamina doesn't just apply to mph

he can still keep his mph up but lose some mechanics.

seems like he just tries to overpower way too many batters and then in turns finds himself down in the count. doesn't matter how hard you throw, you cant throw belt high middle meatballs at this level.
